Origins
Lorraine's journey has taken her from the vibrant streets of the UK to the cosmopolitan landscapes of Hong Kong, Canada, Germany, and Ireland. Born and raised in the United Kingdom, her early years were immersed in the hustle and bustle of her parents' restaurant — where she developed a lifelong passion for hospitality and a relentless work ethic.
Armed with a diverse skill set in marketing and communications, her wanderlust led her to Hong Kong, where she honed her marketing expertise in the dynamic Asian market, before returning to the UK to further refine her skills. She went on to own and manage three successful restaurants.
In 2005, Lorraine embarked on a new chapter, establishing her own travel business in Canada — beginning in the humble setting of an unfinished basement. This entrepreneurial spirit was put to the ultimate test when the untimely passing of her Canadian husband left Lorraine a young widow with four children. Undeterred, she pushed her way to success against the odds, transforming her basement startup into a thriving travel business.
Lorraine's magnetic personality and expertise have graced stages and national television screens worldwide — from Canadian networks to FOX in the USA — making her a sought-after authority in travel, entrepreneurship, and hospitality.
Lorraine is also the founder of Nia Global Strategies, an international tourism consultancy partnering with governments, tourism boards, and airlines across North America and the UK.

Lorraine hosts exclusive, small-group journeys at least four times a year. These trips offer depth, culture, and meaningful connection — but more importantly, absolute peace of mind. When travellers join Lorraine, they know that if anything goes wrong, she is there to handle it, from navigating political unrest to personally escorting a guest to Paris to replace a stolen passport.
Lorraine authored a children's book, My Name Is Neru and This Is My Forest, introducing young readers to the vital importance of conservation through the eyes of a baby gorilla in Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The book is sold across Canada, the USA, and the UK — including a significant purchase by the Uganda High Commission, which is donating copies to schools across Canada to foster a global connection to wildlife preservation.
