Terms and Conditions

Southeast Asia Hosted Journey with Lorraine and Keith

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully. By submitting a deposit, you acknowledge acceptance of these conditions.

1. Booking and Deposit

A non refundable deposit of 20 percent of the total trip cost is required to secure your place.

Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received and written confirmation has been issued.

Due to the limited group size of 16 guests, spaces are allocated on a first come basis.

2. Final Payment

Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure.

Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.

3. Pricing

All pricing is quoted in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices are based on double occupancy.
Single supplement is 25 percent of the base rate.

Prices are subject to change prior to deposit due to currency fluctuations, supplier adjustments or government imposed fees.

Once deposit is received, land pricing is secured.

4. What Is Included

Included in the trip price:

• Boutique four or five star accommodation
• Breakfast daily
• Meals as specified in the itinerary
• All ground transportation
• Airport transfers within the program dates
• Experienced English speaking local guides
• All entrance fees and sightseeing listed
• Halong Bay overnight cruise
• Mekong Delta experience
• Tailoring guidance and lantern workshop
• Phuket private speedboat excursion if applicable

5. Not Included

Not included in the trip price:

• International flights
• Regional flights within Southeast Asia
• Travel insurance
• Spa treatments
• Laundry
• Personal purchases including tailoring and shopping
• Alcohol unless stated
• Gratuities for guides and drivers
• Visa fees
• Any services not specifically listed as included

6. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and must include:

• Medical coverage
• Emergency evacuation
• Trip cancellation and interruption

You are responsible for ensuring appropriate coverage.

7. Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Cancellation fees are as follows:

More than 60 days prior to departure:
Deposit is non refundable.

45 days final payment due and non refundable.

Name may be changed for a fee of $300 and not including local flights

Please note that regional flights within the itinerary are non refundable once issued.

8. Changes to Itinerary

While every effort will be made to operate the itinerary as published, circumstances beyond control such as weather, local regulations, political events or supplier adjustments may require modifications.

Equivalent alternatives will be provided where possible.

9. Minimum and Maximum Numbers

This journey requires a minimum number of participants to operate.

If minimum numbers are not met, you will be notified no later than 45 days prior to departure and all payments made will be refunded in full.

Maximum group size is 16 guests.

10. Health and Fitness

This journey is designed to accommodate a wide range of fitness levels.

Activities include walking tours, temple visits with uneven surfaces, boat embarkations and light optional activities. The pace is flexible and intentionally designed to allow rest and personal choice.

If you have any mobility concerns, health considerations or physical restrictions, we ask that you advise us at the time of booking. Advance notice allows us to customise experiences where possible and ensure the journey is comfortable and enjoyable for you.

Our goal is inclusion, not limitation, and thoughtful planning makes all the difference.

11. Responsibility

Lorraine acts as host and coordinator and works with local licensed suppliers in each country.

While every effort is made to ensure safety and quality, Lorraine is not liable for injury, loss, damage, delay or inconvenience caused by third party suppliers, airlines, weather, political conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

Participation is at your own risk.

12. Passport and Visa Requirements

Guests are responsible for ensuring passports are valid for at least six months beyond travel dates and meet entry requirements.

Visa requirements vary by nationality and are the responsibility of the traveller.

13. Force Majeure

No responsibility is accepted for events beyond reasonable control including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, airline disruptions, strikes or civil unrest.

14. Photography and Media

During the journey, photographs or video may be taken for promotional purposes.

If you prefer not to appear in promotional materials, please advise in writing prior to departure.
